Friday morning .. Berries in foam hand on top.. the partial berry harvest with a partial foam on the bottom.
These Johannesbeeren were harvested in my aunts backyard.
The berry bush is way in the back. The houses on the left are not hers. My back is towards her house. To the left is her Scheune.

Nice looking berries. Will you be making jelly or something with them?
Cool buildings.
Not with those. I might help my cousin with the jelly making tonight.
Kahnesbehr ! Ages since I saw some.
Haben Deine Leut' Tabak angebaut ? Es ist so eine luftige Scheuer.
Nein, so weit ich weiss nicht. Sir waren wirten.
Lovely photos dear Foamy, it is good to see some sunshine though I guess it might be too hot.
Nice red currants and the old rustic bricks and stones on the buildings are wonderful.
xoxoxo ♡
Thanks! dianne, can you believe my aunt things the bricks are ugly are ugly?
Really lovely indeed. Nice photos!
I am terribly curious as to what those berries taste like. So red, juicy, and plump looking. I also wonder if they use those for lambic, dessert wines, or even regular wines? It's been bugging me since I saw them. Patient, slow, procrastinator... I still usually get to it, eventually. Hope your travels are going well.
They tast sweet/tart. They are used to make jellies, pies. I suppose you could make wine.
