I love the way the dead tree is reaching out for the "Beloved". This is a beautiful photo and haiku. It leaves me with a sense of yearning.
Thank you.. It's a bit of a haiku ode to all the beloved people that are gone from our lives. And that photo was taken during a hike that we took as a whole family which is getting rarer these days as the boys are mostly grown.
That has some emotional punch to it. Well crafted, hauntingly so. But not so harsh as to be unwieldy. A truth I presume.
Yes, there is some truth to it. I'm assuming its a truth that many of us share though.
Dearest Foamy, such a beautiful image of the tree as it reaches into distance beyond and a thoughtful and contemplative haiku.xoxoxo ♡
Dianne, I'm glad that you like it.x x x
Foam:I've only got a second, but wanted to say how much I LOVE this haiku. It's so simply said, yet envelops with HUGE emotion. Beautiful. Oh, and the visual is NUTS on... gave me the tingles. It also gave me the tinkles, but I think only 'cause I needed to pee. I'll be up with some antics later tonight, but after yours, it'll be for show only. (prolly below Doom's, as well:() SMILES to you--RafaP.S. HAI, Doom!!! It was haunting, huh?
Thank you, Rafa! I'm so glad you liked it. I've already been to see your haiku, buddy. There is nothing behind about it .. well, in the physical body sense there is .. oh never mind ..SMILES to you too.
