Stuff that makes me happy.

Carol has been posting photos of things that make her happy.
I've decided to do the same.

If you are looking for the haiku winner, see the post below.

My one and only asparagus ..oops.. rhubarb plant

My dog

My cat

Old photos of my dad (left) and uncle

Rather oldish photos of me and people I love:
Me and my ..err.. belly button,
my cousin in the middle who is being held by my dad in the top photo,
my good friend on the right.

A friend's hand

A band I saw (odd in a meh kind of way, but still fun)

My three men

My pumpkin

More to follow soon.
Stay tuned to photos of my tomato plant,
my basil plant, my sage plant, my lemon balm plant.
I know! Exciting, huh?

This is a good idea.

I also like the cat pix.

Your asparagus plant looks suspiciously like rhubarb plant.

That's cause it IS rhubarb, you eagle eyed one .. :).
Thanks for pointing that out.

Lx, yes, I have a charming looking kitty, don't I.

I love your photos Foamy dear, it is nice to see things that make you happy ... now when Pug enquires about your belly button he can see that it is an "inny". :)
Little dog and cat are cute and your three boys.
Your rhubard looks healthy and I look forward to seeing your lemon balm plant, something that I would like to grow. :)
xoxoxo ♡

Thanks, Dianne. Glad you enjoyed my photos.
I was going through some photos I had downloaded onto Flickr a while ago and came across the belly button photo again. I had posted it quite a while ago and for privacy purposes put an envelope over friend and cousin. We were so young then, in our twenties. I think the men in our lifes at the time dared us to expose our navels.
The only male that's hung around for the long haul is mr foam .. :)

Your cat pic is beautifully frightening...and exactly the reason pussies scare me so.

Your dog's perfectly pristine bum bum is the bomb and your belly button??? surprisingly non-fuzzy...YUM!

You have a great eye, keep 'em coming!!

...looks like asparagus to me, 'course my thumb is more brown than green.

Oh, yay! Happy photos!

Thanks for the garden and belly button tours. I am happy that you have a dog, a kitty, and wonderful family people in your life! Very full and beautiful.

What a great idea. I love seeing your three amigos along with your kitty and dog. I wouldn't have been able to recognise asparagus from rhubarb, impressive. BUT! I can identify mold from moss. That's all we have up here.

Thanks for hosting Haiku Monday. Nicely done.

Does your cat still have his balls? I swear he's hissing a fit just like my last girlfriend...except her lil' puss had sharper fangs. MeOWch!!!!! :0

Boxer, I was actually thinking of trying out one asparagus to see how it would do. We are so shaded in many areas of our yard. Going more then one and then not have it succeed would be a waste of money and time. That is probably where the initial mistake came from. Cosmo caught it.

My kitty has the itty bitty balls of a neutered male cat. He was sitting on the armrest beside me. I decided to take a photo of him with the dog in the background when he opened up wide and yawned. :). No hissing kitty here. He's actually very affectionate.

It's a he pussy though..:). And yup, no navel fuzz. I keep it lint free.
You have a black thumb. Asparagus is tall and spindly. This is definitely rhubarb.

The belly buttons, huh? This doesn't surprise me. It is fun posting happy pictures. You seem to do that a lot yourself.

Obviously, I liked your happy photos since you were the inspiration.

My neighbor Bill (the almost 88 year old) called me over this morning to show me is squash blossom. It was H.U.G.E but I didn't get my camera ... still could I guess.

Nice idea - the "stuff that makes me happy"

I can spot rhubarb from miles away; usually as spoken by a conservative politician.

I have to say, beats the hell out of raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.

I'm glad you identified the one photo as your dog. I don't think I could have guessed that one. Then again, I've always been bad at identifying faces in pictures.

Hi Foam. I am envious of the pumpkin bloom. My summer squash are a long way from that stage. Hoppers are eating my pea plants faster than they can grow leaves!

Don't forget Haiku Monday hosted at http://serendipitouswildmoments.wordpress.com/2012/07/03/haiku-monday-theme-is-the-skull/

I'll bet you can come up with something unique. (You generally do.)
