Beautiful 'walk with you' photos Foamy dear, I have never seen so much snow, thanks for sharing and I love the orchid and the snow covered trees.Nice to have you back. xoxo ♡
yes, it's beautiful, isn't it? .. :)hliza, yes, i certainly felt the walk too! i had to do some major stomping through some snow drifts to get to where i was going ..sj,like i said ..you are in denial .. ;)thanks, /t!i know snow is old hat to you. but it's been a while since we've had some major snow like this and then to have 2 major snows just 6 weeks apart? this winter has felt more like a german winter to me .. :)dianne, the orchard is lovely. it's a gift from my mom's sister upon the passing of my mother. actually, i have a fair amount of plants now .. the snow is nice if one can stay warm and safe and it's especially fun for the children. for those who have to travel in it ... ick ...
A lovely walk!Thanks for sharing.:-)
The snow make such a nice contrast to the dark wood 8... I have to agree with the other comments... WOW. Looks like you got a bunch of the white stuff! nice capture...by the way you may have to reduce your snow machine maker ;))
wow, it looks the same as here.We have not had this much winter since the eighties. And tomorrow it is said to come more.I hope Vancouver get some snow and cold weather too.
jin, you're welcome ..! :)ruela, for some reason the snow maker is working overtime this winter .. :)and yes, the snow against the trees in 8 appealed to me too.rolf, yes, it does! i just got back from your site. quite the snow you have over there.
Oh- Foamy-I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes re-reading your post about your mom, and knowing the same snow in your neck of the woods has fallen on me as well.Hugs friend. I would take a walk with you any time, any place.♥
brrrr! The cold cold cold....but the white of the orchid above the twinkly lights is somehow warm despite the snow out yore window. AN' I liked the slight jarrin' of the perspective of the first photo. However...I has a spare room an' it's high 60s low 70s. In case yore feet need a thaw. I'll make soup, too.
mayden, you are so very sweet! i would take a walk with you anywhere too. and one of these days we will.auntie, well, that groundhog on the news predicted 6 weeks more winter. so, i might be coming on down to warm up my tootsies ..
I enjoyed my walk with you Foam
Beautiful creek, but I still say snow sucks
Up north, we've had highs in the upper-thirties/lower forties. Not a flake in sight, either. So eat your heart out.
monique,thanks .. :) look's like we're going to have some more of this tonight too .. :)i might be ready for spring soon.phos,yeah, i know you don't like snow .. x.dell,what if i don't wanna?LL,thanks ..
wow!No kidding! When I went to Fort Bragg, there was not one flake of snow on the ground! Not one flake.Course...it was May, but...you know. What the heck. No snow at all.Now you guys have bunches!Maybe you caught up for all that warm weather when I was there. There twice, i was.Once before Nam, once after.Lots of fun.Well....no. Not really. It was a lot like being in the Army. Well, it WAS being in the Army.wheeeeecould it have been worse?Yeah...I could have been Airborne. And I WAS Airborne.Dang! It's hot as all get out, they dress you in these really not cool clothes, load you on a plane and kick you out the door before you get back to the airfield. Pope Airfield, actually.Dang.I guess I shouldn't complain, though...at least they let us wear parachutes. Now, that would have been a real bummer if the parachutes weren't included.I wonder if they would have dropped us in the snow?Probably not.I mean, since it was May and all. They would have had to fly to the North Pole for snow, eh?So, anyway....wow. Look at all that beautiful snow.Nice.Tell me...are teachers like students when it snows real hard?Do you guys hope a no school day is called?Do you want me to call down every once and a while and say there's too much snow?I mean, you know how Principals are.Heck, they'll take ANY reason to duck out.I mean...you know. What else is there, now-a-days?Back when I went to school, they would LOVE to come to school, and stand around in the halls with their paddles...whacking their hand, glaring at the students....Now they can't hit anyone. My guess is, I could call your school and say "It's called for snow, today," and they'de buy it.Even if it was May....d=))
I enjoyed the crunchy, serene walk. Thanks! And the orchid is BEAUTIFUL!
I would love you to take me to one of your beautifull walks, hope we will someday.
