been there, done that and it does not get any easier. But know that time will heal you... just hold on to the memories as long as you can

Thank you both for your kind condolences. Like many of us, I've been there and have done this already too with both my father and brother.
And, yes, time does heal ..

Oh Foamy, such a loving memory to keep.
My thoughts are with you at this time of loss, your Mom is at peace now but I know that doesn't make it any easier...I'm pleased that you were with her at the end. xo ♡

a beautiful image to help you remember. hold onto the sound of her voice ... to her smell ... to her smile as you pass thru the painful time that will heal you.

i am so sorry for your loss.

my sister died 16 years ago on this day; my thoughts of her have been strong today.

i consider myself so lucky to have been able to be with her at the very end. i barely made it though. i got there just in time. i know you weren't able to be there for your mother and i'm so sorry for that ..

ah, yes .. my brother died 15 years ago. the untimely loss of a sibling is hard. i wish my mother had not had that to deal with.

little lamb,
she certainly had an eventful life. that generation saw a lot of tragedy as well as happiness. thanks for your condolences ..

yes, we do ..
and one of these days perhaps we will be part of somebodies dreams .. :)

thank you, rolf ..

I just read about your mom's passing on Indigo's blog and I wanted to come over to visit and say I'm sorry. While doing so, so far, I've read your story about the Battle of Pumpkin Pie and seen the beautiful photography of loving hands. The love here is palpable.

Much peace & Healing,

What a wonderful photo...
and how lucky your Mom was to have all that love around her up untill the very end here on earth!

Losing a parent is difficult... my heart is with you!
