I would never eat lamb unless I had Lamby's permission.

Wait.

That sounded dirty.

Okay, what I *meant* to say is that I'm sure there are other lamb-related activities we could mutually enjoy.

There.

That's better.

Whew.

Grinchy X. Dell says it's too early to say, "Bah! Humbug!!"

Is it my imagination, or does "Bah! Humbug!!" season getting earlier and earlier each year?

The whole subject brings me down (which reminds me of an old girlfriend of mine named Holly--she always got hung up this time of year). I think I'd like to take a nap on that bed I see in the previous post.

pug,
yes, we could always play pin the tail on the lamb ...
all 3 of us would have fun. well, two of us anyways.

x.dell,
yes, the decorations and commercialism seem to start earlier and earlier each year. hence my corresponding inner grinch arrives earlier and earlier too. but, the 1st advent is this sunday. so, really, i'm not all that early.
concerning the bed, x.dell. you would have to lay diagonally .. :)

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Foamy! Are you cooking?

foam said...

aunty belle,
not grinchy? i don't know. just yesterday i asked my boys if they absolutely had to have a christmas tree. my youngest was appalled that i would even jokingly ask that question .. lol ..
i'm thankful there's an aunty belle in this world too.
you have a great thanksgiving with your clan.

helene,
see fb .. :)

I love the cute cartoon video you have added, was it there before, did I miss it?
I like your moonlit picture on your sidebar too, very beautiful Foamy.
I think this whole year has gone too quickly and yes Christmas is almost upon us, I'm not the slightest bit interested this year, I must be getting 'grinchy as well.
I don't like having a Christmas tree any more, mainly because I am the one who has to decorate it and then un-decorate it and clean up the mess ... plus keep three kitties away from the lights.
What is wrong with me I seem to have lost the spirit of Christmas, the spirit of everything. :(
I hope you're having a lovely day Foamy, thanks for the e-mail. ♡

that is one weird looking elf. grrrrrrrrherherhahahha happy thanksgiving foamy!!!! woo hoo! i am celebrating by doing nothing really. just two of us this year. yay.

foam said...

dianne,
i added it a bit later.
well, you can always tell your children that if they want a tree at your house they have to do it.
my mother stopped doing a christmas tree after her children left. what she would do is just get some nice branches and put a few favorite ornaments on them. my cats actually never bother the tree. they do like it. they love sleeping under it and drinking the water from the christmas tree stand.
one of the best things i ever did for myself for christmas was get a name of a child that was in need and purchased everything that was on that list for that child. it was a girl too. i wasn't quite used to buying a tea set, little dollies, girl clothes, a girl bike.
i was thanked for my "generosity". but really i was being very selfish. i did it because it made me feel better.

k9 ..
what! you think i'm a weird looking elf.... greherhahaha ..
my sons thought it was creepy. my husband thought it was odd, but then so am i. it's a reverse image of me ..
i thought it was bizarre.

foam said...

cosmo,
exhale man! exhale ..

boneman,
you mean weird hat, no?

dianne said...

That is a lovely thing to do Foamy dear, my cats won't leave the tree or the decorations alone, they love playing with the ornaments, the tinsel and I can only have the tree lights on when I am here to supervise...they also like my Christmas table decorations which I used to enjoy so much.
That was not a selfish thing to do, it was a selfless act of kindness,I'm sure you made that little girl very happy, I have done the same myself and hoped that it brought a little piece of magic into a childs life.
You're a good girl Foamy dear, we are all lucky to know you. xo ♡

foam said...

you have mischievous kitties then, dianne .. ;)
presently i'm feeling neither selfish or selfless.just lazy and too full of turkey.

foam said...

mariana,
yes, especially since i'll be taking the elf link down soon. it seems to slow things down.
