An amazing blogger herself, Anna-Lys, has graciously awarded me with this award. It's very humbly excepted, indeed and presently i will add it to my treasure box which i keep at the bottom of my blog.. :) Thank you very much, Anna-rchist..;)
..and the neatest thing about this award it that it comes with no pressure to forward it on. Because, really, everybody i blog with is an Amazing BLogger. More amazing, surly, than this one. As a matter of fact, i think i will put this award over my link list with a caption that reads ..
see below.. yeah, that's what i will do.

And so, hereby, I am going to announce a temporary blogging hiatus. They are not very long. I still have an ailing child .. but we are seeing a specialist tomorrow and then i'm positive that everything will be on the mend. i haven't been able to visit with my mother a whole bunch. i've been working a fair amount on my flower beds .. for me a fair amount at least, which for some folks isn't a whole bunch. but i need to stop comparing myself. and then .. i'm expecting a shitload of company in 1 1/2 weeks. in case you don't know what a shitload of people amounts to .. it's about 9-11 folks by foam's definition. they will be visiting for 4 days, three nights. yep, all in the foam house. we have an annual large music festival that is held in my neck of the woods which we all enjoy. it's a busy time, but a good time and i'm looking forward to it.
dd and mr dd are part of the annual crowd. i mention this, because i was worried they might not be able to come this year. but, yay, they are.
and on that note i have to quit. my son is ailing ..

(1) Wow, it's time for the music festival again. My, how time flies.

(2) I couldn't think of anyone more deserving of a most amazing blogger award. You share a lot here--your art, your family stories, your history, the sights around your neighborhood. Considering all you give us, we should all be giving you awards. You need not be humble about them.

(3) I'm sorry to hear that your son is still sick. Hopefully the specialist will get to the bottom of things, and he'll be up and about in no time.

(4) I'd say 9-11 people for four days constitute one US shitload.

(5) As long as your flowers don't mind, the time you spend witht them is probably appropriate, no?

well, I know yopu've been amazing to me....
I mean, with the bold statements and the quoteable quotes (even though enclosed in quotation marks, I always thought they were fancier like italicized) and, even able to turn things blue, but not knowing why I would want to...
Maybe for 'blue' language?
Let's try....
nah. they still don't come out.
(well, they did for the letter at Bird's, but, i was quoting her, so.....)
And lastly, and more important, the EXCLAIMATIONS!!!
which I love the most, because now, when I want to make a point, it does so nicely....

(now if we could just get you to dump that silly type in the letters thing at the bottom of your comment box.....)
