Those not here anymore must be often in your thoughts.

anna-lys,
oh, no.
and i have to stop being so cryptic ..
i've been doing a lot of rummaging and finding old photos. hung up this old painting in my mother's apartment downstairs. i'm just reminiscing.

monique,
lately they have been more on my thoughts than usual.

she,
yes, that is very true.
my old dead cat also lives forever in my heart too..
;)

Got a kick out of your videos. Very nice picture. Who is the little girl? You never mentioned you had a sister.:) Your video of the feet brought back a memory from prison. Cheryl and other women who did volunteer work there were not allowed to wear open toed shoes or sandals because it drove the women wild that were in prison. Weird what turns a person on.

They look like the Cleaver family - that picture has to be from the 50's!

damn it..! i just posted a comment and it didn't post. i know what i've started doing though. outclickin instead of clicking on the publishing my comment section. so if i've been by your site and there's not comment, that's what might have happened.

anywho, pink...
definitely 60's, probably 64 ...
3 pleases did the trick..
i'll play..:)

phos,
we may look as nerdy as the cleavers, but i do think you are letting that pearl necklace of my mother's fool you.

irishman,
thanks..
and i don't think i'd ever heard about not being able to wear sandals for the reasons you mentioned.

You just don't see painted portraits like that anymore. Kind of sad. Sorry for your losses.

Dells right you do seem to favor your Dad there. Especially coloring.

Whims comment is interesting as I think that about half of my friends have painted protraits of the family or at least the kids lol

I go in spurts of thinking of my dead people... I have been thinking about my brother a ton lately... idky...

Off to clean! yuck!

folks who've known my father often have told me that i resemble him .... esp. around the eyes. but these days
folks know my mother and i'm told i resemble her.

thursday,
true..

whimsy,
everybody either goes to a professional photographer or with the advent of digital cameras, do these type of portraits themselves.

kate,
yes, that's another thing i have from my father. the coloring .. kind of olivey..
